Please understand that we cannot operate restaurant facilities , all the cooking is done ourselves and orders are shopped for as required and freshly cooked, so we do need some notice. We are happy to do children’s portions at half price, or not at all if requested, otherwise all meals will be charged as per occupancy of the cottage. Menu choices need to be one per cottage, individual portions are not available, however sometimes we can be flexible on this depending on other cottage orders.
In order to preserve some family time ourselves, we do not offer this service on Sundays, Bank holidays and over Christmas/New Year. Whilst we always do our best to fulfil meal requirements we cannot guarantee the service to be available at all times whilst you are here.

Beaches
The beaches here on Roseland are some of the loveliest in Cornwall and being on the South Coast are generally calmer and gentler than those on the north coast so perfect for very small children.
Most have lots of rock pools to discover and they never really get that busy so lots of space for everyone.
Our nearest beach , Porthcurnick is the pic in our brochure, and is a lovely sandy cove just a quick 5 mins in the car or a 25 walk across the fields following a public footpath from Pollaughan. Within just 10 minutes drive there are several more beautiful sandy beaches, all quite different in character and offering something slightly different.

Activities
Walking - The stunning coast path of the Roseland is just a 20 min walk across the fields and we have plenty of walking guides for the area for your use. Walkers often enjoy a completely car free week from here.
Sailing,Windsurfing and Kayaking hire and tuition can all be arranged locally for children and adults .We have a little RYA sailing school just a couple of miles away, situated in a river inlet ,not far from St.Mawes and the open sailing waters of the Carrick Roads.
There are several cycle trails reasonably nearby and in a variety of settings where hire for all ages can be arranged.
